My brain has been whirling with so many ideas and thoughts but before I write about all those, I just wanted to give a few updates about what's been keeping us busy.
1. I (finally) finished my long-term sub position covering a maternity leave at the middle school where I was full time. This was a big part of the reason for my limited work on this site. It kept me busy yet the experience was a good one overall. I learned a few things and lost a few pounds as I worked out with the kids during our fitness class. I would like to thank all my former gym teachers for their efforts in teaching me and to brag that me, the most uncoordinated and awkward kid, actually TAUGHT a fitness class. 2. Lowly Worm came back safe and sound. If any of your child's beloved stuffed animals needs a little TLC I would highly recommend you contact Beth at Realms of Gold. She took such good care of Lowly and was so kind in emailing us and keeping us posted during the process. Lowly is now repaired and looking good. Logan learned a few lessons on trust and patience and was rewarded with his favorite stuffed friend repaired and as good as new. 3. I've taken on a new role as part-time nanny for our dear friends and neighbors. It's been twelve years since I dealt with a baby so its going to take some time to re-learn the ropes. He is so cute and very easy going. I'm looking forward to play time and outings to museums and parks. So that's what's been up with me. I'm looking forward to more fun and sharing of ideas and adventures. Adventure on, Friends!
